Pasar Terapung ( Floating Market )

    Pasar terapung (floating market) is a traditional market on the Martapura River, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan. Activities start after dawn (05.00 WITA)  and end at 06.00 WITA. Traders use jukung (small boats). The floating market is very unique, because buying and selling transactions are carried out in rivers. Here you can find snacks  as well  fruits. so , the pasar terapung is the local wisdom of the people of South Kalimantan.

Face-to face Learning at School Should not be held in 2021

       The coronavirus pandemic has affected educational systems in Indonesia, leading to the near-total closures of schools, universities and colleges. The education system moves activities online, to allow learning to continue even when schools are closed. Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud) Nadiem Makarim announced that schools were allowed to resume teaching and learning activities in 2021. But, I think face-to-face learning at schools shouldn't be held in 2021. Here are the reasons; 

    First, quoting Wiku's statement in a virtual press conference broadcast on YouTube's Presidential Secretariat, Tuesday (8/12/2020). "I remind you again that the trend of increasing cases of COVID-19 is still happening. In fact, on Thursday last week, December 3, 2020, the increase in positive cases reached 8,369. This figure shows a very dangerous condition and reflects the high transmission that occurs in Indonesia. Public,"

     Second, not all schools have facilities according to predetermined health protocols. Even though an area has a low covid-19 rate, if health protocols are not implemented, it could potentially lead to the spread of new clusters. For example, not all schools are able to carry out rapid tests or swab tests, which are one of the procedures that must be implemented before schools are opened offline.

    Thus,distance learning or online should continue until conditions are truly convincing for face-to-face learning because the current conditions are still unstable and not well controlled.
